In Salesforce, we can use Translation Workbench to maintain the translated values for metadata and data labels within the Salesforce org. You can specify the languages for translation. You can also assign translators for each of the languages. At the same time, you can manage the translated values for any of the Salesforce supported languages. Translators are capable of maintaining the translations directly through the workbench. You can also export the translation files for bulk translation imports. This is a powerful feature, as it allows the Salesforce admin to customize the languages as per the organizational requirements. There are many regions across the globe, who doesn’t use English as the official language, for the users of those regions, this feature is a complete boon.
To enable the translation, we need to enable the translation workbench first. This can be done easily by following the few steps mentioned below.
You must note that the package should support the language in which the translation will be done. Once the managed package is created, the translation setting cannot be disabled.
